Hi Aaron,
Rob 17th here, nice to meet you on the web. I was a clerk in RAEME and stayed with vehicles when I got out. Have sold a few myself over the years till I retired. Had my own yard in Gympie.
Anyone noticed the odd array of members who have sprung up on the list from all over the world.

Hey Robbo,
I wonder if you ever knew the Grannie from Gympie? She had a perchant for young servicemen. One of our blokes from Gundiwindi told us about her.......................Wow. Hmmmmmmm maybe an urban legend but i don't think so.

Hi Radish,
Never knew of The Grannie but did know a few grannies, maybe it was her I sold a Holden Sandman.

Gympie would have been a good hunting ground as I recall when we were travelling on exercise to Tin Can Bay Training Area we would sleep at the Gympie showgrounds and have a few beers at the local pubs overnight. Also used to sneak into the Tin Can Bay Wharfs where the bream fishing was magnificent. Of course that was back in the mid sixties (Exercise Crusader I think)

my first time on here gents as i was unaware of the site until recently. Noticed that most of the forums are not recent. Hope all are well and look forward to meeting up and renewing old mates.
