NOTICE OF 2008 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE AUSTRALIAN ARMY APPRENTICES ASSOCIATION INC

The annual general meeting of the Australian Army Apprentices Association Inc. will be held at the Army Museum, South Bandiana commencing at 1530 hours on Friday 24th October 2008. All Association members are invited to attend.

Programme.

To minimise travel costs and to give the maximum number of members the opportunity of attending the AGM, it is intended to hold this meeting in conjunction with the 60th celebrations Meet and Greet.

Seating in the conference room of the Army Museum is limited to about 200 persons, so attendance will need to be restricted to Association members only.

Members are asked to ensure their name is recorded on entering and be seated by 1530. The meeting will conclude before 1730 in time for BBQ dinner.

Proxies

Proxy voting is permitted proxy votes on the attached form must reach the Secretary before 20th October.

Voting

Voting is by show of hands unless a motion moved and passed at the meeting directs a secret ballot. Only financial Association members may vote.

Election of Office Bearers

Nominations for election of vacant office bearer positions can only be accepted on the attached Nomination form duly nominated and seconded by financial Association members and received by the Secretary by 20th October 2008. In the event of no nominations for a position being received, nominations from the floor at the AGM may be accepted.
